The TRB-80 tumbler blasting machine has been developed for the automatic cleaning, derusting and roughening of medium to smaller workpieces. Thanks to the rubber rocker belt, the parts move continuously, so that all surfaces are evenly hit by blasting media. The design makes the machine suitable for serial work and parts with complex shapes.
The machine has an endless rubber band that makes the workpieces tumble into the drum. An "E-ECO" turbine hurls abrasive against the components at approximately 20% higher speed than conventional turbines, resulting in intensive and even cleaning with less wear and lower abrasive consumption. The used abrasive falls back into a funnel and is transported via an elevator to a cleaner, where dust and fine particles are separated. The purified blasting media ends up in a silo and is automatically returned in doses. An integrated extraction system with cartridge filter removes dust and ensures a clean working environment. The robust housing with manganese steel and Hardox wear plates provides durability and protection, while options such as frequency inverters can increase the flexibility of the blasting process.
